Employees of the Calgary Health Region* represented by HSAA launch Class Action Lawsuit against TSSI
People represented by HSAA and employed in the former Calgary Health Region have launched a Class Action Lawsuit against TSSI after, according to the filed Statement of Claim, years of being subjected to a litany of errors by TSSI in the administration of their payroll and benefits.
“We never had these kind of problems before the health region contracted out our payroll services to TSSI,” states Maureen Mackrory, one of the representative plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit. “After four years of frustration, we’ve finally had enough.”
People negatively affected by TSSI's handling of their payroll and/or benefit services are encouraged to document errors they’ve experienced and the subsequent impact these errors have had on their daily lives, using the dialogue box located below.
Members are also encouraged to complete their name and contact information below as part of the registration process.
Note: This action is separate and apart from any claim that health-care workers have against the employer. By registering as a member of the class action, you are neither abandoning any grievances in process, nor are you giving up any right to file grievances related to payroll, benefits, or OH&S against the employer.
